Due to the fact that refrigerant used in our refrigeration system is ammonia, we are classified as one of the plants with an increased risk of a serious industrial accident. Ammonia is a hazardous substance, but for many years it has undergone a renaissance as a refrigerant, because it has excellent thermodynamic properties without creating any danger to an ecosystem like a freon. Due to its qualities, ammonia has now returned to the role of the most important refrigerant. In our plant ammonia is closed in a cooling system. In installation has been designed and constructed to minimize the risk of any industrial failure. Pursuant to the provision of Art. 261 a paragraph. 3 of the Act of April 27, 2001 Environmental Protection Law hereby provide you with a basic information about our plant related to its safety.
